By Prachi Arya: Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania seems to have a stronghold in India and the credit goes to the fantastic fanbase. After witnessing a grand opening, the film stormed the box office with amazing numbers. After minting good numbers at the box office, the Peyton Reed directorial continued to perform well over the first weekend.
ANT-MAN BO COLLECTION
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is an American superhero film based on Marvel Comics. It features the characters Scott Lang / Ant-Man and Hope Pym / Wasp. Meanwhile, with Ant-Man’s release, the other two movies, Pathaan and Shehzada, have got a good competition to grab footfalls in theatres. Kartik Aaryan’s Shezada was jolted by the Ant-Man release; the numbers are proof.
As per early estimates, the first weekend of the film was tremendously good. The film earned roughly Rs 25.86 crore in India. Today, on February 20, the film is expected to earn around Rs 2.36 crore in India for all languages. Previously, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania had done business of approximately Rs 9 crore to Rs 9.80 crore at the Indian box office on Day 2. The total collection was earlier around Rs 19 crore. Now, over the weekends, with Pathaan still having a stronghold, it will be interesting to see how the film fairs at the box office.
